Restored,
not painted over.
Almost every blacktop sealer on the market is an asphalt or tar product — a by-product of the oil industry, painted back onto your driveway. We use a blend of natural oils and co-polymers instead, so old grey asphalt gets its colour and its flexibility back rather than a coat of black paint.

Why asphalt goes grey
The sun cooks
the binder out.
Asphalt is aggregate held together by a flexible binder, and the desert sun spends every summer drying that binder out. As it goes, the surface fades from black to grey, turns brittle, and starts shedding gravel; cracks follow, water gets in, and the freeze–thaw cycle finishes the argument. A dried-out driveway does not need painting — it needs its flexibility back.
That is the difference between conditioning and coating. A tar emulsion lays a black film over the top; it looks new for a season, then wears through in the tyre tracks. A conditioner soaks in and feeds the binder itself, which is why the colour that comes back is the asphalt's own.
- Natural oils and co-polymers — contains no asphalt and no tar
- Conditions old, dried-out asphalt rather than coating it
- Chemical and UV resistant
- Dries fast, and cleans up with soap and water
It gets sprayed and back-rolled, never squeegeed — a squeegee pulls too much material to the surface and you end up with a driveway that looks painted, which is the exact thing this product exists to avoid.
Asphalt sealing questions
The blacktop
questions.
Will it look wet-black like a tar coat?
It brings back the asphalt's own colour — a rich dark surface rather than a painted-on gloss. If a driveway looks lacquered, that is a film sitting on top, and films on asphalt wear through exactly where you drive.
My asphalt is cracked. Seal or repair first?
Repair first, same rule as concrete: nothing goes down over a problem. What is worth repairing versus living with is exactly what the free assessment sorts out.
How long before I can drive on it?
It dries fast — faster than our concrete work — but plan around the day of application and we will give you the exact window when we see the surface.
